SGY’s global footprint spans Asia and the United States. Our home office is in Hong Kong with a manufacturing facility in Ningbo, China and having recently expanded production into Vietnam, Thailand, and Cambodia to diversify our manufacturing base. We ship over 1000 containers annually of product to the U.S. In the U.S., our office and distribution center in Akron, Ohio serves as a domestic consolidation hub. By handling fulfillment stateside, we cut complexity and expedite deliveries to our retail partners. To ensure consistent quality, we maintain on-site testing labs and QA teams in both Asia and the U.S., so every product meets rigorous standards.

Quality is paramount – we have dedicated QA staff and on-site labs in both Asia and the U.S. to test materials and products at every stage. All products adhere to relevant safety and compliance standards (UL, OSHA, etc.), and we continuously audit production to meet our retailers’ quality benchmarks.
SGY coordinates all logistics from factory floor to store door. We manage ocean freight and customs, then consolidate products at our U.S. warehouse for final distribution. This domestic consolidation approach optimizes production runs, reduces lead times, and eases tariff pressures for our partners – allowing retailers to receive mixed-product shipments quickly and carry less inventory.
Our involvement continues through product launch and beyond. We assist with merchandising plans, planogram layout, and in-store signage to ensure each product’s success on the shelf. SGY also provides ongoing support – from coordinating warranty and customer service solutions to analyzing sales metrics – to help our retail partners maximize sell-through and customer satisfaction.
SGY works with leading retailers and brands worldwide. Our customers include major retailers such as Lowe’s, Amazon, and Ace Hardware, where we manage private‑label programs under brands including Kobalt, Utilitech, Amazon Basics, and others. We also serve as a licensed manufacturer for established brands such as Craftsman® and DeWalt®, producing selected tools and equipment under their names. In addition, SGY developed and owns the SurfaceMaxx® and Weldforce® brands, which we design, source, and support for national distribution.
